According to Article 5 of the constitution, the Executive Committee shall comprise:

• the Presiding Officers of the National Parliaments of the member countries;
• one member from the Provincial Assemblies in rotation (rotating in Alphabetical order); and
• three Regional Representatives of the CPA Executive Committee from Asia Region.

The Chairman of the Executive Committee shall be elected by the Committee for a term of three annual Commonwealth Parliamentary Conferences.
