The Hon’ble Speaker, National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, upon his election as Acting Chair of the CPA Asia Regional Executive Committee, chairs the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Asia Regional Executive Committee Meeting on 4 February 2026 in Karachi, held during the 7th CPA Asia Regional Conference / 2nd Joint CPA Asia & South-East Asia Regional Conference 2026.

The meeting brings together representatives of all CPA Asia Regional Executive Committee member legislatures and focuses on strengthening regional cooperation, institutional development, and future initiatives, including enhanced parliamentary collaboration and democratic engagement across Asia.

The meeting reaffirms the CPA Asia Region’s collective commitment to promoting effective parliamentary practices and democratic values.
