1. Actions for CPA Asia Region Branches
i. Submit | 2026 CPA Annual Conference – Theme and Topics
A reminder for all CPA Branches to submit their suggested conference theme and workshop topics for the 69th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC), which will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, from 13 to 18 September 2026.
CPA Branches can either complete the online form below or send proposals to hq.sec@cpahq.org to reach the CPA Secretariat by 10th March, 2026. Please contact us if you have any questions.
ii. Plan your celebration | Commonwealth Day 2026
Commonwealth Day, held every year on the second Monday of March, is a celebration of unity, diversity and the links of the modern Commonwealth. It is also a time to bring people together for dialogue and reflection.
The Commonwealth Day 2026 theme is: ‘Unlocking opportunities together for a prosperous Commonwealth’.
Schools, governments, Parliaments and communities across the Commonwealth will organise events as well as Commonwealth Day events taking place in cities across the world.
- Let us know what events you are planning in your Parliament or local community, send us photos and tag #Commonwealth Day 2026 on CPA social media platforms.

iii. Nominate | Commonwealth Youth Parliament 2026
The Commonwealth Youth Parliament (CYP) is one of the CPA’s most popular programmes and brings together participants aged 18 to 29 representing the nine CPA Regions. The 13th Commonwealth Youth Parliament (#CYP13) will be hosted in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia from 26 to 31 July 2026.
CPA Branches are invited to nominate participants from their jurisdictions and to complete the nomination form online. Branches are invited to submit these by 16 April 2026. Please contact us if there are any questions. Find out more and nominate
