Special Secretary National Assembly Syed Shamoon Hashmi, representing the CPA Asia Region as its Regional Secretary, participated in the Regional Secretaries Meeting held in connection with the 69th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference.

During the meeting, he shared the perspective of the CPA Asia Region on matters related to regional representation, institutional strengthening, capacity-building and parliamentary engagement. He also highlighted the importance of strengthening support for parliamentary secretariats and promoting greater cooperation and exchange among CPA regions. The meeting provided a platform for Regional Secretaries to share experiences, discuss institutional priorities and enhance coordination for the effective implementation of CPA programmes and activities.
