Hon’ble Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq participated in Workshop C of the 69th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, “Parliamentary Leadership in Promoting Climate Adaptation and Resilience,” highlighting the important role of parliaments in strengthening climate resilience and advancing effective policy responses.

During the workshop, the NA Speaker shared Pakistan’s experience and emphasized the need for parliamentary leadership, legislative oversight and coordinated action to address the growing impacts of climate change. The session also provided an opportunity for parliamentarians from across the Commonwealth to exchange experiences and discuss practical approaches to climate adaptation and resilience.
